The Puma V1.08 Velocity Football Boots Firm Ground (FG) Black/Dark Shadow/Blue is the very latest new colourway of the Puma Velocity Football Boot that is super lightweight, creating super speeds and ultimately gets you to the ball even faster.The new V1.08 will be seen extensively in the Premiership and Champions League matches and around the world, building up to the Euro 2008 Finals in June.This stunning new lightweight boot will be worn in the UK by Peter Crouch, Mark Viduka and Jermaine Jenas.The upper of the V1.08 uses a thin, lightweight and abrasion resistant textile material,which provides the industry speed benchmark with unique ball control and reinforced with a thinlayer of microfibre specifically in areas where extra reinforcement is needed. This increases durablity without adding dispensable weight.Puma technical information of the new V1.08 is as follows: The two piece outsole of the V1.08 is split in seperate pieces keeping weight down whilst enhancing the fit in the medial foot arch area. The forefoot stud configuration of the boot ensures smooth ground penetration by providing optimal traction and manouverability at all times. The rear stud configuration of the V1.08 features an integrated heel counter to provide stability whilst supporting the natural running movement of the athlete. The minimized TPU external heel counter provides optimal stability whilst reducing weight through its unique construction. The carbon fibre internal chassis is the backbone of the Puma V1.08. The TPU frame provides stability while the carbon fibre sole plate secures lightness and flexibility. With carbon fibre as the major component of the internal chassis PUMA are using a lightweight yet flexible advance material. Embedded in double density injected TPU, the carbon fibre composite of the internal chassis ensures excellent pressure distribution at all times, and reduces weight and supports the natural flexpoints of the forefoot. The PUMA AptoLast sets a revolutionary benchmark for football boots. Ergonomically as well as optically it closely follows the foots natural shape and provides a glove like fit that allows the upper to mold prefectly to the athletes foot.The new V1.08 features 6 removable studs and is also available as a firm ground outsole option.
